On 3/7/2023 Deputy Welch and Deputy Harber made contact with Edford Gardner of Hillsboro. Mr Gardner was arrested on a Fleming County warrant. Upon further investigation, Deputy Welch and Deputy Harber seized drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Gardner was subsequently charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (Methamphetamine, Suboxone) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
