On Saturday January 17, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Deputy John Adams and Deputy Dustin Cooper responded to the Hillsboro Handi-Mart in reference to an intoxicated male on the premises who was refusing to leave.
Upon arrival, deputies identified Trevor Carroll, age 26, who was acting disorderly in the parking lot and appeared to be intoxicated. During their investigation, deputies located evidence indicating Carroll was in possession of controlled substances consistent with trafficking activity.
As a result of the investigation, Trevor Carroll was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, along with additional related offenses.
