Please welcome our newest deputy to the Fleming County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Dustin Cooper was sworn in on Friday, Sept 1st, 2023 by Fleming County Attorney Monica Hill. Deputy Cooper is a 2011 graduate of Fleming County. He served on active duty in the Army as a Military Police (MP), with duty stations in Korea and Ft Campbell. Deputy Cooper is currently serving in the US Army Reserves and working for the Thompson Brother’s Construction here in Fleming County. Deputy Cooper will be attending the basic law enforcement training at the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond.
