The State Medical Examiner has identified the male in Sundays incident on Maxey Flat Rd as Joshua Ross. Our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Ross.
On March 31, 2024, the Fleming County Sheriffs Office responded to Maxey Flat, in reference to a death investigation. Deputy McIntyre with the Fleming County Sheriffs Office, along with KSP, Hillsboro Fire Dept, Fleming County EMS and the Fleming County Coroner located a deceased person in the lake. The investigation is still on going.
