Fleming County Sheriff’s Statement Regarding Drug Investigations
The Fleming County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to report the successful completion of two separate drug investigations that resulted in the arrests of Christian Hawkins and Lee Allison for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.
In both cases, Deputy Welch, in conjunction with K9 Rex, conducted thorough investigations that led to the discovery of illegal substances in the possession of the individuals. K9 Rex’s exceptional detection capabilities contributed to the locating of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia, which indicated the illegal sale and distribution of controlled substances.
These arrests are a direct result of the diligent work and dedication of the deputies and K9 Rex, who are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. The Fleming County Sheriff’s Office will continue to work tirelessly to combat drug-related offenses and protect our citizens.
All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
