Thanks to the generosity of many Fleming County people and businesses, both the Fleming County Sheriffs Office and the Flemingsburg Police Department were able to take another 20 students out to “Shop w/ a Cop”. This program means a lot to our Law Enforcement Officers and their families who help support this event.
On behalf of Deputy Rob Conn’s late father Sterling Conn, a family member donated hot wheels and matchbox cars to all of the participants.
For those that knew Sterling Conn, understood he had a love for cars, especially Ford. Sterling worked many years for Bobby’s Auto Sales in addition to repairing several vehicles for friends and family through the years. Because of this love for cars a family member wanted to honor Sterling’s memory by donating hot wheels and matchbox to Fleming County Sheriff’s Office and Flemingsburg Police Departments Shop with a Cop program.
