On May 24th, 2023 Sheriff Smith received information of suspicious activity occurring at 131 East Elm Street. Upon investigation, the Fleming County Sheriff's Office and the Flemingsburg Police Department were able to locate and seize over 20 grams of methamphetamines and prescription drugs, along with various drug paraphernalia. Deputy Patrick arrested both James and Danielle Flaugher. Both were lodged in the Mason County Detention Center.
