The Fleming County Sheriffs Office worked a multiple vehicle collision on KY 32 (Morehead Rd) near Madonna Lane this morning between a semi and a pickup truck.

We urge drivers to slow down, not to be distracted when driving, and be courteous and aware of other motor vehicles.

Fatal Collision Investigation
The Fleming County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police are working a fatal collision that occurred on Morehead Rd and the intersection of Mt Hope in the early morning of 5/31/2023.
On May 24th, 2023 Sheriff Smith received information of suspicious activity occurring at 131 East Elm Street.
On May 24th, 2023 Sheriff Smith received information of suspicious activity occurring at 131 East Elm Street. Upon investigation, the Fleming County Sheriff's Office and the Flemingsburg Police Department were able to locate and seize over 20 grams of methamphetamines and prescription drugs, along with various drug paraphernalia. Deputy Patrick arrested both James and Danielle Flaugher. Both were lodged in the Mason County Detention Center.
