We are responding all across Fleming County for high winds that have knocked down trees and power lines. We have reports of debris in the roadway. We ask that people stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary until this passes.

Several Sheriffs’ Offices across the Commonwealth came together to help Russell County Sheriffs Office while they were dealing with the tragic loss of Deputy Joshua Phipps. Three Fleming County Deputies (James Welch, Rex and Dustin Cooper) volunteered to help cover calls for service. We will continue to pray for Russell County and all of the brave men and women who serve and protect.
