After that time, any unpaid bills will be delinquent and will transfer to the Fleming County Clerk. You can use the link provided to check for any unpaid tax bills.

The Fleming County Sheriff’s Office would like to welcome back Deputy Bradley McIntyre. Deputy McIntyre started his career with the Fleming County Sheriffs Office in March of 2016. He graduated from the Department of Criminal Justice Training in February 2017 as part of Class 479. He returns to the sheriff’s office from the KY State Parks where he served as a Park Ranger. Deputy McIntyre is pictured below being sworn in by our County Attorney Monica Hill.

Earlier today, the Fleming County Sheriff’s Office located human remains in Flemingsburg. Sheriff Smith and Deputy Mullins were assisted on scene by the Flemingsburg Police Dept, Kentucky State Police and the Fleming County Coroner. KSP is conducting the death investigation.
Earlier today we received a complaint of a phone scam.
Earlier today we received a complaint of a phone scam. Scammers are calling pretending to be law enforcement officers with other agencies (Frankfort Pd and Florence Pd for todays scam). They advised our person, they had a citation issued to them for missing federal jury duty. I was added to the phone call, I began asking questions to the scammer who said his name was SGT Davis with the Florence Police Dept. He quickly ended the call.
We will see an uptick in scams during this time of the year. If you question a call, or it seems it’s too good to be true, please reach out to local law enforcement. You can reach the sheriff’s office at 606-845-4701 during business hours of 8am-4:30pm. After business hours, our phones are redirected to the Fleming County Emergency Dispatch Center where you can reach a deputy that’s on duty.

Thank you to everyone who shared our post. We’ve received a lot of calls in regards to the picture posted earlier. Today Deputy Mullins and myself were able to locate John Dylan Bailey who was arrested on multiple warrants. He received a new charge of Burglary 3rd, stemming from the prior incident. He was subsequently charged with Fleeing and Evading when he attempted to elude and hide from law enforcement. Mr Bailey was arrested and lodged in the Mason County Detention Center
All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
